This floor has a whopping solid Oak top face of 6mm and an overall thickness of 21mm and is extremely stable. This is an Oak floor that is hand brushed and hand stained and then oiled. The reason for the oil is that one can follow a simple maintenance program and this floor will get better and better with time. The reason for the oil finish in this range as if this were a sealed floor and one day needed to be re-sanded and sealed one would loose the hand brushings as well as the hand staining.
